To lead sustainable design by creating modular, eco-friendly furniture that connects people and respects the planet.
We turn plant-based material into durable, carbon-negative furniture — proving that innovation and nature can shape a better future.

ReHemptation by Husarska was born from a belief that design has the power to shape a more responsible future. As an industrial design studio, we have always been driven by the desire to create solutions that are not only beautiful and functional, but also scalable and sustainable.
In 2022, we joined forces with Green Lanes to support the development of Strumber — an innovative material created with environmental responsibility at its core. As designers, we immersed ourselves in the material, exploring its properties and possibilities. Drawing on traditional carpentry techniques we designed the first furniture prototypes that translate sustainability into refined, durable objects.
Our work extended beyond furniture design. Guided by a strong inner mission and a belief in a sustainable future, we created the ReHemptation exhibition, presented at Łódź Design Festival 2023 and Vienna Design Week 2023. These showcases became platforms for education, dialogue, and reflection on responsible material choices and the future of design.
ReHemptation represents a dialogue between timeless design and responsible production. We remain open to new collaborations with like-minded designers and material innovators, aiming to create furniture that is both beautiful and consciously made.

At Łódź Design Festival 2023 we launched an exhibition exploring the potential of annual plants. We presented furniture made from the innovative Strumber material – Hempsquare and Hempden. This project marked the beginning of our mission as Rehemptation.
At Vienna Design Week 2023 we presented the ReHemptation collection internationally for the first time, including the new HempStool. In collaboration with VANK, we showcased their modular system, and through partnerships with diverse designers we work together to raise awareness of annual-based materials.

Presenting our furniture in Milan, the world’s design capital, was a breakthrough moment. The installation featured industrial hemp seedlings, the distinctive HempSwing, and marked the debut of the HempSolo table.
As partner and producer of the Young Design 2024 exhibition under the theme REsponsibility, we created the show sustainably using reused banners. We presented timeless pieces from our collection alongside other sustainable materials to inspire the young generation.

During DDW 2024 we participated in two locations: as a partner of the Polish Job 2.0 exhibition by Łódź Design Festival at Piet Hein Eek, and with our HempStool showcased in the Klokgebouw as part of the Green Product Award exhibition.
At Warsaw Home 2025 we presented the full ReHemptation collection, including new pieces FlaxStool and HempBean. We promoted responsible design through flat-pack solutions—HempBean is easy to assemble and transport, making it more sustainable.
